Apple Cider Vinegar For Acne Treatment

Treat acne with acv

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is made from fermented apples and it is acidic in nature. The best type to use for acne treatment is the organic ACV because it contains the "mother", which means that it contains proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria - that is where it gets its murky appearance.
As a result, the organic ACV with the "mother" has multiple healing antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
Considering that ACV is acidic when you apply it to your face, it pulls out all the acne-causing bacteria, dirt and sebum clogging the pores of your skin.
ACV also treats acne by balancing the pH of the skin. Ideally, the pH of our body is meant to be alkaline in nature, the acidity content of ACV makes it a good fit for achieving that.

Homemade ACV face toner

Get a clean airtight bottle to store your toner.

Mix 1/4 cup of raw, organic ACV with 1/2 cup of clean water into the bottle.

Shake the bottle well.

Apply the toner on your freshly washed face with a flat cotton wool.

Apply your moisturiser.

Do this consistently every morning and night to successfully treat stubborn acne.
